17th Amendement in Constitution 1973 of Pakistan
The constituion of a state represents the thoughts of the basic concepts of its people. The time to time amendments in the constituion of a country shows the thoughts of the majority of parliamentary members and specially the head of the state at the time of the emendment. The amendments in the constituion are most important things which shows the restlessness of the ruling party in the parliament. The people of the state are not bound to respect the amendments in the constitution but they have the right to criticise the negative amendements which could create anarchy inthe country. The negative amendments cause the social harm with uncertainty of innocent lives in the state. It is my question that what were the circumstances which forced General Pervez Musharraf to get pass the 17th amendment in the constituion ? I think the answer of this question can solve many matters like the assasination of Benazir Bhutto, the killing of Nawab Akber Bugti and the Lal Masjid Operation. There is a great need to discuss over this question at large level.
